Are we the 99%?
For the past weeks I heard students comment on the Occupy Wall Street and other Occupy movements going on. They said the same things along the lines of “These people don’t even know what they’re protesting!” And it was “just a protest for protest’s sake.”
All of the articles, pictures and videos that have been posted show that these people know. Just because you (those that made the comments to which I am responding) choose not to see the economic and social inequality in our nation does not mean it’s not there.
