At Chaminade, there is a tradition of celebrating different cultures, traditions and just diversity in general. However, Black History Month is one area that need some improvement.
I was disappointed last month to hear that Pipeline Café would be shutting down on Jan.31. Pipeline hosted great bands, comedians, fundraisers and many other nights of fun over the past 10 years. But that’s all over now because in 2003, Pipeline Café expanded, and part of that expansion agreement was that the club would install and activate water sprinklers.
