When I first arrived at Chaminade University of Honolulu five years ago, certain sports fell by the wayside and were forgotten about — like men’s water polo, men’s tennis and women’s golf.
Chaminade has been competing in the golf world for the past five years and are “always last place, never better,” says one team member. Hopefully this semester they’ll do better.
On March 12 and April 10, the women’s softball team will play a home game at Palolo Valley District Park. “We want to play in Palolo because we want more fans, more student support,” said head softball coach Kent Yamaguchi.
