For every new school year, I get excited. Thoughts of starting anew and thinking of how this year will be better than the previous year fill my mind — that is, until the day school actually starts. Back to old Chaminade where everything is still, well, everything. I’m not much of a complainer but hey, I’m just sayin’.

Composting to Save the Planet

Composting is one of the upcoming ways to fight the issue of global warming caused by the chemicals in landfill dumps and is something that Chaminade should look into. What exactly is compost? Compost is a mixture of organic matter, such as plant leaves and food waste, which can be mixed together to reduce methane gases that would be released if it were added to a landfill. Chaminade University does not have an implemented compost program in place.
