Passersby would think that California Beach Rock ‘N Sushi is just another sushi place in Honolulu.  Rather than being just another questionable establishment, however, it’s actually a great place that serves appetizing Japanese cuisine.

Summer Blockbusters Sizzling the Silver Screens

If you thought last year’s summer movie blockbusters were amazing, this year’s blockbusters are aiming to improve on that already positive impression. Yes, 2008 had summer headliners like “The Dark Knight,” “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” “Tropic Thunder” and “Pineapple Express,” but 2009 blockbuster movies are coming with big name titles that starts on May 1 and doesn’t die down until Aug. 21.

Queensryche, “American Soldier”
A band noted for being supportive of American Troops, this rock band’s album rings true to that style. From the first song, “Sliver” to “Man Down”, Queensryche displays its colors, seen in their lyrics, which create a first person view of a soldier’s life in war.

I humbly thank the Master of the Universe for allowing the Pussycat Dolls to come to Hawai’i.  High-ticket prices (between $60-80,) allow the Dolls to play at the Blaisdell.  These tickets are definitely worth every cent.  Man, I wish my girlfriend was hot like them.
