In the previous “I’m Just Sayin’” articles, I’ve ragged on our school’s shortcomings. Chaminade isn’t the greatest school in the world. It’s good to challenge failures of the status quo, and I have been quick to take advantage of its faults in this respect.
Clarence T.C. Ching Hall (formerly Freitas Hall) is arguably the busiest building on campus. Students can get academic help at the Academic Advising office, clear up unpaid tuition at the Business and Financial Aid offices, petition to graduate or request transcripts in the Records Office, grab a bite to eat at the Brothers Brew, and sit and chat with friends in the Vi and Paul Loo Student Center.
I’m sure you’ve seen a cat or two, or a dozen, roaming around campus. After a while I stopped counting. They congregate near the bike racks at the bottom of the hill or outside the security office, but I always wondered why there were so many.
April Fool’s Day always comes with many funny surprises that sometimes are nice, but in certain cases this can be unpleasant to the person whom a prank is being played on.
