“A Concert for Black History Month,” held Sunday, Feb. 8, was a joint effort by Chaminade University and the Hawaii Vocal Arts Ensemble.The annual concert demonstrated Chaminade University’s hopes to attract more student, staff and faculty involvement in cultural events.
Sexual slavery is a gigantic worldwide problem that must promptly be addressed. Most prominently in the East, sexual slavery has become an epidemic.
The Web portal has often been a source of frustration among Chaminade students. Whether it’s clicking on buttons that don’t work or just logging-in in general, the Web portal’s services were less than satisfactory and the thing hardly even worked.
We are all aware of Chaminade’s involvement in community service. Some of our professors incorporate this service into our course objectives, making it a requirement to participate in one of several service-learning programs that are offered here at Chaminade.
Father Ken, one of Chaminade’s most well-known staff members, will be retiring at the end of this semester. He will use his free time to try to build a community for active retirees. Don’t worry though, he will still be around Chaminade.
Giving or aiding those in need is considered a moral action, and at Chaminade University, such upright behavior is encouraged. Working with the Blood Bank of Hawaii, which will be on campus in April, is the perfect opportunity for students, faculty and staff to help out.
