Jamie comes to Chaminade from Woodinville, Washington. With tremendous talent, she is expected to be a big help to the women's soccer team. After coming off a record of 0-15, (0-12) in the Pac West last season, the Swords can use all the help they can get if they want to improve. Having Lindstrom on this year's roster is a blessing for the Swords because she adds a major spark to the offense.
As the 2008 season begins, the Men's Silversword Soccer Team enters a new era. Jason Kelly is the new head coach. Born in Australia, Kelly has many years of playing as well as coaching experience. He graduated from the University of Sydney and played professionally in Australia as well as England until 1998. He was assistant coach from 2000-04 for the Richmond Kickers Youth Soccer Club in Virginia.
First allow me to start by saying that he is a great candidate for the award. His numbers speak for them self. An overall record of 17-5, with an ERA of 2.66 along with 252 strikeouts to just 82 walks. These numbers are great, ranking among the leagues best, but the San Francisco Giants have a terrible record (68-85). 11 games out from being the worst team in baseball, hurting his changes at winning such an award, leaving the door open for a couple of guys that have slightly better numbers then him.
