Vending Machine Wars

Don’t you just hate when all you want in life is a candy bar, and the vending machine doesn’t want to work?  The dollar goes in and out, and you let yourself get sucked into hate and frustration.

I know this doesn’t sound like your normal everyday problem, but it’s becoming a huge problem here at Chaminade.   Vending machines across campus are turning on the students.

The problem isn’t in all the vending machines believe it or not, some work just fine. 

The one near the Behavioral Science Building works great, but it is one hell of a walk just to get a candy bar.

The vending machine in Eiben Hall only takes coins and crisp dollars, but maybe I’m the only person on campus that walks around with wrinkled money.

The two located in Henry Hall just flat out don’t work at all, and haven’t in two years. 

What’s up with that?  How hard is it to fix a vending machine?  How about getting a couple of new vending machines?  If not, take the supply of candy and treats out so students don’t lose 75 cents. 

Adding to the problem are the fancy new swipe things on the side of the soda machines.  Why is that a problem?  They aren’t on the vending machines. 

Vending machines should be around to help your day, not to make your day a living hell.
