Capoeira is not only a Brazilian dance, game, or martial art played with vibrant music. “It is a way of life,” says Rod Ussing, teacher and founder of Capoeira Hawaii. “It applies to everything you do. You make assumptions and sometimes they are or aren’t correct. It may be for the better or for the worse, but you constantly have to be thinking on your feet and pay attention to everything around you.”

Tired of the Silversword Cafe, Brother's Brew, or the Courtyard? You are not the only one. Since Chaminade does not give students a variety of different restaurants to choose from like other universities do, I will try out different restaurants to give you a little variety in your life, for a cheap price, and a delicious meal. In this review, I tried restaurants near and around school. I mostly stayed in the Kahala area, Waikiki, Ala Moana and Diamond Head.
