The 61st annual Kaimuki Christmas parade lit up the evening December 4th as it kicked off the 2008 holiday season. Although the parade’s starting point was at Chaminade, there were very few attendees from the University to be found. The parade traveled up Wai'alae to Koko Head Avenue and included guests such as Mayor Mufi Hannemann, the Kaimuki Fire Station, and the Royal Hawaiian Band.
